TOD: Transit-Oriented Development

This dissertation investigates how Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) in the UK influences commercial gentrification, with a focus on London’s Elephant and Castle. It emphasises the displacement of local traders owing to increased costs, and urges legislation to combine TOD advantages with the protection of a local area’s character.
