ArCCAT Undergraduate Award Beyond Studio
This is a new, annual, cross disciplinary, School-wide award for active engagement with the climate crisis in the School of Architecture+Cities. The award was established in 2023 and is worth £250
Criteria:
Entries can be any medium and should respond to one/or more of the following criteria: environmental responsibility, social responsibility, regenerative economics, and innovation. Entries should be accompanied by a short statement explaining why the proposed student/work is eligible.
2023-2024 Winner:
ArCCAT UG Award for active engagement with the climate crisis in the School of Architecture+Cities’ was awarded to Anasstasia Suzdaltseva Kazakova from BA Architecture and Environmental Design.
2022-2023 Entries & Winners:
The competition was open to all undergraduate courses and 5 entries were received (available for viewing here). The Award was judged by the Head of School Harry Charrington and DR&KE Lindsay Bremner.
The 4 joint winners were all part of the ‘Transformation Workshop’ run by Adam Thwaites in BSc Architectural Technology:

They received their award at the Architecture + Cities Awards Evening on June 16, 2023.
The ‘Transformation Workshop’ also awarded a Green Fund award.
